The Sisterhood

The Sisterhood - Helen Bryan This would have been 5 stars, but I felt that the lost gospel element of thd book really didn't work. I loved reading about the history of the convents and the stories of the women attached to them. But I ended up not caring that much about the modern part of the book or about the character Menina. The big reveal of the lost gospel (that comes in a full 93% of the book) left me cold. It didn't even read as a gospel, but more like a modern style story telling. But this book was well worth reading and I enjoyed it.
